Dogtooth are a three-piece Mod band based in Glasgow and is comprised of John Hewitson (guitar/vocals), Craig Morrison (bass) and Robert Lang (drums/vocals). The band started out in 2013, like most other bands – by playing covers of some of their favourite bands such as; The Jam, The Who, Oasis, The Stone Roses, Catfish and the Bottlemen and The Libertines. After playing covers for a while, they decided that it would finally be time to begin writing their own material, and they did just that.

In May 2017, they released their Debut EP, ‘Breakthrough’ which was a massive success and had an in-store launch in HMV Argyle Street, and this EP is still available in all UK stores on a 10″ vinyl and CD format, as well as an MP3 download.
Since the formation of the band, Dogtooth has had the pleasure of supporting legendary bands such as Heaven 17, Secret Affair, The Spitfires and The Selecter and having played some sick venues such as King Tuts Wah Wah Hut, The Barrowlands and the famous Cavern Club in Liverpool where The Beatles had made their first appearance in 1961, and that’s only to mention a few of the venues Dogtooth have played, having played over three-hundred live shows since 2013.

Dogtooth are continuing to play a mass amount of gigs all around the UK, as well as hoping to record their first studio album in the future as well as keeping fans up-to-date with brand new music such as ‘Trying to Save You’, which was released in Feb 2019.
